The giro paulista is one of the most characteristic and eye-catching moves in roots-style forró.

During this workshop, participants will be taught how to correctly lead or perform a basic giro paulista, as well as a number of more advanced variations of the move.

Requirements

This is a workshop for forró dancers who are at an intermediate level (level 2/3) or above as a follower or leader. You do not need to be enrolled as a student at Forró Academy to participate.

The workshop will be held at Forró Academy’s Islington venue: The Library (1st floor function room), 235 Upper Street, London N1 1RU.
